ISCA introduces PiCCO ace high precision toolholder for itsbore series, so as to provide more solutions for boring. The new toolholder can be used to clamp a series of piccout small tool rods.
Before the release of PiCCO ace toolholder, the itsbore series of iska can only provide ihaxf indexable boring bar and welded boring bar for small diameter hole machining. However, the tools available are very limited. For example, iska can only provide six tool options for boring with diameter less than 8mm.
The new type of PiCCO ace BH chuck can be used to process holes with a minimum diameter of 4 mm, and the number of small arbors for boring can be increased to hundreds. This significantly improves the ability of iska to provide more suitable tool selection for various machining applications, and can provide more ideal overhanging, tool tip fillet radius and cutting edge geometry for each specific application.
Compared with ihaxf boring bar, the use of the new PiCCO ace BH chuck can also bring additional advantages. The high precision and fine grinding quality of PiCCO small tool holder make the machined surface quality higher, and the hole diameter accuracy and size consistency of machining holes are higher. The economical PiCCO small cutter bar has the characteristics of rapid replacement and high repeated positioning accuracy; the PiCCO ace clamping system which is clamped on the front edge has high clamping rigidity.
